Ms. Marie Beth Lorenzo

Is a BS Psychology Graduate of St. Louis University, Baguio and earned her Masters in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines.

She is an EPCALM Board of Trustees Member. She is the Grief Course Training Director for this Understanding Grief 3 Seminars. Marie Beth is also an accredited facilitator for Griefshare for the Lighthouse Christian Center. GriefShare is a ministry of Lighthouse Church in Puyullap, Washington. The 13 weeks session facilitates the healing process of those who are grieving the loss of a loved one through death.

Marie Beth’s experience is in the following areas: Social policy and program development, planning, programming, monitoring and evaluation with emphasis on social acceptability, social impacts including involuntary resettlement of development projects on indigenous peoples, women and other vulnerable groups; institutional development plans, review and assessment; project management and facilitation; and technical research and report writing.

She accomplishments are as follows:

  • More than 15 years as training, development and sustainability specialist in various private and public institutions; ¬†
  • More than 10 years of assessment on implementation of programs and projects for institutional development and sustainable partnerships;
  • More than 10 years of development program coordination, facilitation on water, sanitation and hygiene with a non-government organizations, government and private sector;
  • More than 5 years of as a social safeguards specialists undertaking social impact assessment and social mitigation plans for Project Affected PersonsExperience in the following areas: Social policy and program development, planning, programming, monitoring and evaluation with emphasis on social acceptability, social impacts including involuntary resettlement of development projects on indigenous peoples, women and other vulnerable groups; institutional development plans, review and assessment; project management and facilitation; and technical research and report writing.
